Staff Manager
Our Staff Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store:
- Ensuring all brand, food quality and safety standards are being maintained by all staff
- Preparing product for daily sales (our Italian Ice is made fresh daily)
- Cash handling (drawer counts and petty cash reconciliations)
- Equipment maintenance (cleaning batch machines and custard machines on the appropriate schedules)
- Tracking inventory and checking in deliveries
- Handling customer service issues
- Fostering a culture of mutual respect and mentoring team relationships
- Ensuring staff are maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the entire shop and outdoor dining areas
- Handling out-of-shop catering events
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours, lift up to 60lbs, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills for dealing with staff, customers and ownership
- Ability to manage high-paced, customer focused food service
- Able to work independently and delegate effectively when necessary
- Flexible availability- including evening, weekends and "will-call" assistance as needed
Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 to $22.00 per HOUR
